$60 non-refundable deposit is required to hold your time slot.
All of Hella Tan & Boutique's spray tanning packages are non-transferable.
Two weeks before your appointment:
- Exfoliate gently every day with a
Dermasuri
mitt (sold in the salon) and moisturize twice a day.
The week of your appointment:
- Continue exfoliating and moisturizing
- Wax three to four days BEFORE your appointment. If you do not get waxed regularly, than please wax five to seven days prior, as waxing irritates the skin. You want your skin to be calm and recovered before applying any competition tanning product.

Hella Tan suggests that you complete any shaving at least 8 hours prior to your tan with a new razor.
DO NOT put anything on your skin before or after your spray tan.
This includes:
- Perfumes
- Lotions
- Deodorant
- Tears
- Soaps
- SPF
- Make Up
These products can raise your skin PH levels and potentially cause the tan to turn green. To avoid staining your fingernails or toenails, we suggest applying a coat or two of clear polish. If you choose not to put on clear nail polish, we will provide a protective nail cream prior to starting your spray tan experience.
What to wear
Wear loose, dark clothing and flip flops. If you need to wear a bra, wear a bralette or tank top. Hella Tan Boutique also sells a variety of after tanning dresses available for $10.
